The dryer vent cleared once a year, so lint can't build where it starts fires.

One visit, the whole run cleared from the dryer to the outside wall. A dryer that dries in one run again. The price is on the page.

An unusually long or complicated run gets a confirmed price first.

Why it matters.

Lint is the leading cause of dryer fires. The screen in the door catches part of it and the rest goes down the vent, where it packs in at the bends. A packed run also keeps the heat in the machine, so every load takes longer to dry.

The schedule.

Once a year covers most houses. A long run with bends, or a laundry room on the second floor, wants it every six months. On Loaded it is done at the winter visit.

What the visit looks like.

The dryer comes away from the wall and the duct comes off its back. The whole run is cleared from the dryer to the outside wall, and the flap outside is checked to swing free with the dryer running. What the run looked like gets noted in the record.

While there.

The same visit can clean the bathroom exhaust fans so they move the steam out again. Add it to a plan visit; the full list and prices are in the plan.

One-time, or on a plan.

One-time is a single visit, no plan, charged after the work. On a plan is the lower price for plan holders, billed after the visit. On Loaded the dryer vent is already in the plan. On Basic, add the job when starting the plan and it is done during one of the four visits, with the cost spread across the monthly bill. Plans start at $— a month.
